The Ultimate Guide to Grand Haven: 50 Things to do on a Staycation
12. Buy Fresh Produce at a Local Farmers Market
Our surrounding community is full of family-owned farms and orchards providing a diverse range of fresh and homemade goods at the Grand Haven Farmer’s Market and the Spring Lake Farm and Garden Market.
The Grand Haven Farmer’s Market is located downtown next to Chinook Pier under the Green Canopy from 8AM – 1PM on Wednesdays and Saturdays. If you’re visiting town, it’s a great way to pick up some fresh produce for a picnic at the beach, or a healthy snack after hiking the scenic area trails.
If you aren’t in Grand Haven on a Wednesday or Saturday, The Spring Lake Farm and Garden Market takes place on Thursdays from 9AM – 2PM in the Harvest Bible Chapel Parking Lot.
The market offers plants and flowers, homemade delicacies, and baskets full of locally grown produce. It is the perfect place to stop on your way into town for a weekend Staycation.
