The fun never stops at the Grand Haven ~ Spring Lake Holiday Inn and this past weekend was no exception!
In Grand Haven it’s considered the happiest weekend of Winter and that’s why it is called”Winterfest.” You can enjoy and participate in everything from snow boarding to dog sled racing, and even the most anticipated event at Winterfest… The cardboard sled race, where children and adults alike create snow sleds with only the use of cardboard, tape, and glue.
Our main part of Winterfest is having live ice sculpting during the weekend. Local ABC affiliate, WZZM 13, stopped by and interviewed Jack’s Restaurant’s manager Micheal Schaefer
Catch the full video of Micheal on WZZM13.
On Saturday Jack’s Tiki Bar was open to the public. The weather was perfect and it wasn’t long before the tiki bar was full. With Jimmy Buffet playing in the background it actually almost felt like summer. By far the biggest hit at the tiki bar was the “Shot Wave.” Made completely out of ice it sends your favorite flavored shot from 3ft up down an icy highway, straight into your mouth
